Incorrect on every point. Where the Diary is still under copyright, it is so because that territory’s law deems it so. Anne Frank’s family is not “profiteering” and that is about as offensive a suggestion as I’ve seen around this story (and I’ve seen some whoppers). Her family is, as far as I know, no longer involved since her father willed the work and related materials to foundations and museums. The foundation that owns the remaining copyright uses its revenues for holocaust-related charitable causes.
